What we do
Select Home Service LLC handles two kinds of work.
The first is repairs and maintenance. Plumbing fixtures, switches and outlets, painting, drywall and ceiling patching, doors and hardware, light fittings, swamp coolers, and the general list of small jobs that never quite justifies its own visit.
The second is remodeling and projects. Carpentry, flooring, kitchen and bathroom updates, and the full property rehabilitation a rental needs between tenants.
We work on residential property and on light commercial property.
Landlords and rental property
Turning a property around between tenants is work we do regularly, and it is the work where the calendar matters more than anything else, because an empty unit costs money every week.
Paint throughout, flooring, fixtures, hardware, rekeying, drywall repair and the accumulated small damage of a tenancy, scoped as one job rather than a dozen separate visits. Tell us the date you need it ready for and we will tell you honestly whether it is achievable before we start, not halfway through.
Licensed, bonded and insured
We hold CSLB licence #1072987, classifications B-2 (Residential Remodeling) and C-33 (Painting and Decorating). We are bonded and insured.
If you want to verify a contractor's licence before hiring them, and you should, the California Contractors State License Board publishes a public lookup at cslb.ca.gov. That is true of us and of anyone else you are considering.
Working within our licence
Some jobs are properly the work of a plumbing or electrical contractor. Re-piping, sewer lines, panel upgrades and new circuits are examples.
We will say so when a job is one of those, rather than taking it on and finding out halfway through. Telling you that costs us a booking and saves you a bigger problem later.

We do not book a slot without speaking to you first, because we would rather commit to a time we can actually make than confirm one automatically and miss it. Our working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 5:30.
